Client reviews can help visitors understand communication, service, and experience, but reviews are subjective and do not predict legal outcomes. TaxAttorneyVA moderates submitted reviews before publication.
Who may submit a review
Reviews should describe a genuine first-hand experience with the attorney or firm being reviewed. Reviewers should not submit reviews for competitors, employers, employees acting on behalf of a firm, or matters in which they have a material conflict that is not disclosed.
What we do not allow
- Fabricated, duplicate, or coordinated reviews.
- Reviews purchased, traded, or submitted in exchange for undisclosed incentives.
- Threats, harassment, hate speech, doxxing, or unnecessary personal information.
- Confidential client communications, tax account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information.
- Claims presented as fact when they are clearly unrelated to the reviewer’s experience or cannot reasonably be evaluated through a review.
- Promotional links, spam, impersonation, or automated submissions.
Moderation
We may reject, edit for privacy, or remove content that violates this policy. We do not promise to verify every factual statement in a review. A published review reflects the reviewer’s opinion, not TaxAttorneyVA’s opinion.
Attorney responses and disputes
Attorneys and firms may request an opportunity to respond to a published review or dispute a review that violates this policy. We may request supporting information while protecting confidential material. Purchasing advertising does not entitle an advertiser to remove legitimate criticism.
Ratings
On-site ratings are calculated from approved TaxAttorneyVA reviews. Ratings imported from third-party platforms are labeled with their source and are kept separate from on-site review counts.
